Returns, Cancellation & Refund Policy - Alteriorr

Alteriorr operates as a marketplace and affiliate platform, where products and services are fulfilled directly by partner brands. This policy explains the terms governing order cancellation, returns, reverse pickup, and refunds for purchases made through www.Alteriorrsolutions.com or the Alteriorr platform.

By placing an order on Alteriorr, you agree to this policy.

1. Order Cancellation

1.1 Cancellation Before Shipping

Orders may be cancelled before they are shipped by the brand or fulfilment partner. Cancellation can be initiated through the Orders section of your Alteriorr account or by contacting Customer Support, subject to order status.

1.2 Cancellation After Shipping

Once an order has been shipped by the brand, cancellation may not be possible. In such cases, customers may raise a return request after delivery, subject to return eligibility.

1.3 Cancellation Confirmation

Once a cancellation request is approved, confirmation will be shared via email, SMS, or order dashboard notification.

2. Return Eligibility

A product is eligible for return only if:

  • The return request is raised within the return window specified on the product page or order confirmation (typically 7–15 days from delivery, depending on category)
  • The product is unused, unwashed, and undamaged
  • All original packaging, tags, labels, manuals, and accessories are intact
  • The product is not marked as non-returnable on the product detail page

Non-Returnable Items

Certain products may not be eligible for return, including but not limited to:

  • Customised or made-to-order items
  • Hygiene-sensitive or perishable products
  • Items marked as final sale or clearance

3. How to Initiate a Return

3.2 Approval & Instructions

Once reviewed and approved, Alteriorr will share return pickup instructions.

3.3 Reverse Pickup & Logistics

As orders are fulfilled directly by brands, Alteriorr will arrange reverse pickup through a third-party logistics (3PL) partner assigned by Alteriorr. The returned product will be shipped back to the brand’s warehouse or origin address.

4. Return Shipment & Inspection

  • The product must be handed over in original condition to the 3PL partner
  • Returned items are inspected by the brand or its designated return centre
  • Acceptance or rejection of returns is based on the brand’s inspection outcome and policy compliance

5. Refund Process

5.1 Refund Initiation

Refunds are initiated only after the returned product is received and approved by the brand.

5.2 Mode of Refund

Refunds are processed to the original mode of payment:

  • Online payments → original bank/card/UPI
  • Cash on Delivery (COD) → bank transfer, wallet, or alternate method supported by Alteriorr

5.3 Refund Timeline

Refunds are generally processed within 10 business days after return approval. Bank processing times may vary.

6. Partial Returns & Exchanges

  • Partial returns are allowed for multi-item orders, and refunds are calculated accordingly
  • Exchanges may be offered based on product availability and brand If exchange is unavailable, a refund will be processed

7. Return Rejection

A return may be rejected if:

  • The product is used, damaged, or altered
  • Original packaging or accessories are missing
  • The return window has expired

Rejected items may be shipped back to the customer as per brand policy.

8. Shipping Charges & Fees

  • Return pickup may be free or chargeable depending on product category, brand policy, or location
  • Original delivery/shipping charges are non-refundable, unless the return is due to an incorrect or defective product

9. Amendments to Policy

Alteriorr reserves the right to amend this policy at any time. Updates will be effective immediately upon posting on the Site with a revised Effective Date.
